ThompsonGas Welcomes Two New Employees

New Hires Dean K. Mosher and Joe Jardeleza Bring Years of Sales, Marketing and Management Experience to the Maryland Propane Company.

Mosher and Joe Jardeleza. “Both Dean and Joe will be valuable assets to our company,” says ThompsonGas President and CEO Randy Thompson. “With their expertise, we look forward to continuing our reputation of exceptional service and strong family values that we’ve offered our customers for more than six decades.”

In October 2012, Mosher joined the Thompson team as president of HVAC operations for the Boonsboro, Md., and Bradley, W.Va., facilities. In his new role, Mosher helps troubleshoot difficult HVAC related issues, including service and repair. Before joining ThompsonGas, Mosher spent seven years employed at Tyler Mechanical Contracting, first as manager of the Services Division and most recently as vice president of the Construction Division. Mosher has also been employed as a sheet metal worker, CAD draftsman, service technician, installer and project manager at companies including Sander Mechanical Service, Inc.; Independent Sheet Metal Co., Inc.; and Bonland Industries, Inc. A native of New Jersey, Mosher has a bachelor’s degree in business management from York College of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America and a journeyman sheet metal worker.

Jardeleza joined ThompsonGas in September 2012 as showroom manager responsible for sales, vendor relationships, advertising, marketing and merchandising of the company’s new local retail showroom in Boonsboro, Md. Jardeleza has more than 35 years of experience in sales and business, most recently as part owner and chief operating officer of M&M Appliance in Washington, D.C. In nine years at the company, Jardeleza helped grow the small family business to become the largest independent supplier of kitchen appliances in Washington, D.C. He also founded Capital Wholesale Appliances and was responsible for managing three award-winning Verizon Wireless Zone stores in Bethesda, Germantown and Olney, Md. A native of Keedysville, Md., Jardeleza and his family have a strong personal connection to Boonsboro and the local community that the retail showroom serves. His children all graduated from Boonsboro High School, and Jardeleza serves on the Parish Council of Boonsboro’s St. James Church.

ThompsonGas’ Retail Showroom Now Open

The Hagerstown, Md.-based propane company kicks off its retail showroom Grand Opening with a successful in-store celebration, special discounts, giveaways and more.

Boonsboro, Md. (PRWEB) October 12, 2012– On Sept. 29, 2012, the sunny, autumn weather greeted more than 300 visitors at the Grand Opening celebration of ThompsonGas’ new retail showroom. With hundreds of friends, family and customers showing up to celebrate, the event was a huge success.

Located at the ThompsonGas showroom on 6708 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Md., the celebration featured a live radio broadcast and giveaways by 99.9 WFRE, food on the grill and refreshments, entertainment, activities for the entire family and more. Doors opened at 9 a.m. with a constant stream of cars stopping by to unload their propane tanks for refills, while others surveyed the showroom’s impressive array of gas logs, fireplaces, gas stoves, and heating and air conditioning supplies. When visitors arrived, a burning fire-pit warmly welcomed them to the new store. Several new gas customers signed up for service during the Grand Opening, and other existing customers were converted to monthly plans.

Throughout the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 6, ThompsonGas gave away 50 gallons of propane and free HVAC 1-year maintenance agreements daily. Customers who visited the store also scored exclusive Grand Opening savings including 10 percent off all grills, fireplaces and ventless stoves, $10 refill on any propane grill tank (up to 20 lbs. only), a free safety inspection with any new product installation and more. And one lucky winner took home a gas grill valued at $850.
